$50 – $125He is a founding member of the rap group The Click, and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. He has released twenty-eight studio albums to date, appeared on numerous movie soundtracks, and has also done guest appearances on a host of other rap albums. Initially an underground artist, his 1995 solos album In A Major Way opened him up to a wider audience. Soon he began collaborating with mainstream rappers, and rose to even higher popularity, particularly with his hit “When To Go,” which was produced by Lil Jon.
Too $hort is credited as being one of the pioneer rappers of West Coast Hip Hop. His biggest hit songs include “The Ghetto,” “Blow The Whistle” and “Ain’t Nothing Like Pimpin’” Too Short has collaborated with Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.B., Scarface and Pimp C. He has also recorded for Daz Dillinger, Lil Jon Soopafly, Scarface and B-Legit. In addition, he collaborated on Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary album with the song “Take U Home” ad on the 50 Cent song “First Date.” More recently Too $hort collaborated on the song “Jewels ‘n Drugs” with Lady Gaga.
During the mid-’90s, when West Coast rap reigned supreme, Mack 10 emerged as a close associate of Ice Cube and has since enjoyed considerable commercial success. Mack 10 has had a string of hits, including “Foe Life,” “On Them Thangs,” “Bow Down,” “Gaangstas Make The World Go Round,” “Backyard Boogie,” “Money’s Just A Touch Awa,” “Lights Out,” and more.
