The Method Fest, named for the “Stanislavski Method,” which brought truth and realism to the world of acting, is the only major film festival in the U.S. that pays homage to the actor and is truly The Actor’s Film Festival. After a hiatus, the Method Fest returned for a successful run in 2019, and is now bigger than ever in 2020.
In addition to highlighting the work of outstanding actors and launching the careers of upcoming performers, writers, and directors, the Festival is a haven for films with timely and controversial subject matter. This year is no different, as Method Fest selections tackle difficult topics including addiction, mental health, cyber-bullying, homelessness, psychological and physical violence, surrogacy, gender issues, immigration, terrorism, genocide, and more. Along with the screenings of nearly 60 films, the Fest celebrates actors with exclusive galas, receptions, workshops, and panels in conjunction with the Stella Adler School of Acting.Find out more
